Service Advisor

Working Hours
Monday to Friday alternate weeks of 7.00 till 5.00 and 8.00 till 6.00. 1 in 3 Saturdays working 7 – 12.30

Reporting Line
Service Manager & Directors of the Business

Job Purpose
Responsible for dealing with all customers, fleet and private customers alike and liaising with teams in the business

Key Accountability
Responsible for various administration tasks such as daily inputting of staff hours from the previous day, answering and dealing with incoming calls. Inputting of client information in order to raise a job instruction and responsible for client updates in accordance with the rota. Required to address or solve issues as they arise and seek guidance if required. Self motivated to achieve the tasks in within the given time scales & improve service levels. Ability to communicate with colleges and customers alike, confident telephone manner. Awareness of Customer service ethics and expectations of meeting the customers needs

Knowledge/experience/skills
Key skills in English and Maths
Computer Literate ~ Microsoft Packages + Excel
Experience of the motor industry and working in a bodyshop/garage essential
Ability to prioritise tasks successfully

Attributes/Behaviors
Good communicator, able to share ideas and information
Takes pride in their own work and the Team Player and flexible in their role
Good level of Administration Skills
Demonstrate Initiative and an ability to finish tasks to deliver the businesses goal

MET Technician

Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8.00 till 5.30 and 2 Saturdays per month 7-12.30

Reporting Line
Panel shop Foreman, Service Manager & Directors of the Business

Job Purpose
Car/LCV Strip & Refit and Mechanical repairs

Key Accountability
Removal and replacement of non-structural damaged parts. Mechanical component removal & replacement. Remove and replace mechanical trim and electrical components. Inspecting vehicles and carrying out mechanical repairs to various vehicles. Ability to address or solve issues as they arise and seek guidance if required. Self motivated to achieve the tasks in within the given time scales & improve service levels. Ability to communicate with collegues and customers alike. Responsible for keeping a daily log of job descriptions for work carried out. Accountable for cleanliness with the work place ensuring a clean tidy work area at all times. Awareness of Customer service ethics and expectations of meeting the customers needs

Knowledge/experience/skills
Valid NVQ Level 3 or Senior MET ATA Acreditation
Key skills in English and Maths & Level 3 in Vehicle maintenance
Knowledge & experience in Auto Electrcial & diagnostic repairs.
Evacuate and recharge Air Condifitioning systems & Removal and refit of SRS components
